Dwayne Johnson surprised one fan with a very special present after hearing his inspirational story.

The Rock, 49, gifted his own personalized truck to shocked Navy vet Oscar Rodriquez at a screening of his new movie Red Notice.

He shared the heartwarming story in an Instagram video on Wednesday, November 24, writing: "Today was a good day. Merry Christmas @coach_orod and enjoy your new truck."

The caption explains how Johnson invited fans to a special theatre screening of Red Notice, but how he'd also wanted to do "something BIG… something MASSIVE…something unforgettable" for one very special fan.

Although he had originally planned to give away the Porsche Taycan in the movie, Porsche said no, so Johnson had to come up with something else.

"I'll do one better," the actor wrote. "I'll give away my personal custom truck as the gift. My baby. I gathered as much information as I could about everyone in the audience and ultimately, Oscar's story moved me."

"Takes care of his 75-year-old mom. Personal trainer. Leader at his church. Provides support and meals for women victimized by domestic violence. Proud and humble navy veteran. Kind human being."

"Go enjoy your new truck dude and Merry Christmas to you and your family!" the Jungle Cruise star added.

In the video, Johnson explains to Rodriguez that the truck is now his. The shocked navy vet breaks down in tears and hugs the actor.

The clip then rewinds to show us the moment Johnson first surprised Rodriguez in the cinema. He strides in, calls Rodriguez down to the front, and tells him: "Your story really moved me [...] you're always keeping it positive and motivational and optimistic."

At the end of the video, The Rock reflects on the experience, saying: "[It was] just an honor for me to give a little bit of joy to someone who deserves a lot more than just my truck."

Laughing, he adds, "And now I can figure out how I'm getting home. Cause I don't have my ride."

Rodriguez shared his gratitude for Johnson on his own Instagram, posting a photo of himself and the truck with the caption:

"I have no words to express how blessed and grateful I am!"

This week, Red Notice became Netflix's second most-watched English film of all time, Variety reports. Alongside Johnson, the art-heist thriller stars Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot.
