Billie Eilish's haunting, expansive Bond theme, No Time to Die, has been widely praised by fans and critics alike.
Eilish brilliantly walks the line between her own inimitable style, intertwined with subtle nods to classic Bond themes past: soaring strings marry together with the subtle, dark synth sound that has made Eilish's name. The song even finishes, with a final flourish, on that famous minor 9th chord that marks the end of the original Bond theme.
The Independent dubbed No Time to Die, "one of the best [Bond themes] we've had in some time".
Watch Billie Eilish open up on having Tourette Syndrome:"The flourish of violins, electronic guitar and faint brass all pay tribute to classic Bond theme tropes, but Eilish's subtle synth motif makes this song her own."
Meanwhile, the track received praise in the Guardian's review too. They called it, "a Bond theme befitting of the Craig era".
"The pop sensation sidelines her trademarks for a tasteful track that matches the haunted solitude of its leading man."
And now, fans have been taking to Twitter to share their own impressions of the theme, and it's certainly fair to say that they're taken with it.
