13 Child stars who look totally different to how you remember them

I'm pretty sure I'm not alone when I say that I really miss my school years. Like, sure, homework sucked and now we can go out and get food without having to beg mum for more cash than the fiver she gave you.

But when we were kids, there weren't any bills to pay, there were no big decisions to make, and instead of having to do the pile of dishes so you can cook food for yourself when you get home, you would just slump onto the couch and watch TV without a worry in the world.

Whether it was your favourite after-school program or those 3 or 4 movies you just never got sick of watching, there was a great comfort in sitting in front of the TV that's different to how we get home to watch Netflix now.

But alas, we all grow up. And incidentally, so do the stars from those old TV shows and movies. And if you've ever wondered, "I wonder what Bruce Bogtrotter is doing right now", or "What does Lizzie McGuire's brother look like these days?", then you've come to the right place.

Here are 13 child stars from your childhood favourites and what they look like now.

1. Jonathan Lipnicki AKA Ray Boyd from Jerry Maguire, and all those Stuart Little movies

2. Alyson Stoner AKA Sarah Baker from the Cheaper by the Dozen movies

3. Jim Karz AKA Bruce Bogtrotter in Matilda

4. Maureen McCormick AKA Marcia Brady from The Brady Bunch (as well as Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie)

5. Macaulay Culkin AKA Kevin from Home Alone

6. Tia and Tamera Mowry AKA the identical twins from Sister, Sister

7. Noelle and Cali Sheldon AKA baby Emma from Friends

8. Jake Thomas AKA Lizzie's brother Matt in Lizzie McGuire

9. Vanessa Hudgens AKA Gabriella from the High School Musical films

10. Steven Anthony Lawrence AKA Beans from Even Stevens

11. Zack from Saved by the Bell

12. Paul Butcher AKA Dustin from Zoe 101

13. Joseph Mazzello from Jurassic Park

Whoa! Talk about a blast from the past. Who knew that our beloved characters from so long ago would be real, functioning adults in the present? Oddly enough, you can kind of still see some of their most famous roles in them even in pictures from today... Or that's just the nostalgia in me convincing me that I see it.

Time to re-watch a few favourites this weekend? I think so too!
