World's biggest adult star Abella Danger gives honest explanation on why she decided to quit adult movies
Abella Danger has opened up about why she stepped away from filming adult movies, sharing a candid explanation during an appearance on the Full Send podcast.
During the conversation, the performer discussed how the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted her work and pushed her toward a different path online. She also spoke about focusing more on her OnlyFans account rather than returning to traditional adult film shoots.
Danger explained that while she once loved working in the industry, a series of frustrations during the pandemic period made her reconsider whether continuing to film scenes was worth it.
She said she plans to focus on OnlyFans
While speaking on the podcast, Danger revealed that her current focus is on OnlyFans rather than going back to adult movie shoots.
She shared how long she had been on the platform, saying: “Not long enough, honestly. I should have gone on that bus way f**king longer than it took me. I've had it for like two years, I think. Not that long."
When asked directly whether she would return to filming scenes again, Danger made it clear she does not see herself going back right now.
She said, "That's not something I can answer with full confidence. Right now, I think 'no'."
Pandemic disruptions pushed her to stop filming
Danger explained that the pandemic period created repeated problems when she tried to continue shooting content.
She said, "One time I flew to LA to shoot five scenes, and all the directors canceled me because I was partying before I went there. And I was like, 'This is so f**king dumb.' I was stuck over there for one week without shooting anything."
The situation left her stranded in Los Angeles without completing the scenes she had planned to film.
Testing requirements also became a major issue
Another factor she highlighted was the growing list of testing procedures required for performers during the pandemic.
Danger described the process in detail, saying: “In order to get tested, you have to do anal swab, you had to do so many different types of testing. They just added a urethra swab... it's so much.”
She added that testing had previously been far simpler.
According to Danger, “I used to have the test every 12 days. I don't know how it is now, but I would only have to do blood and pee, but now it's like an anal swab, like a throat swab... it's so much.
Despite stepping away from filming, she still spoke positively about the work she once did.
She said, “I loved it. I was an animal.”
