An official 'Friends' cookbook is being released this year

Earlier this year, before the world went a bit... weird, Friends fans all over the world rejoiced when it was announced that the main six cast members would be reuniting for a special HBO reunion show.

But with the pandemic putting the breaks on that, fans have been trying to find other ways to get their Friends fix.

Obviously, we've been binging every season, episode, and minute of the show online, and we can even pass the time with this Friends-themed version of the popular board game Guess Who?

I've also been watching bloopers from the show, and this is without a doubt my favorite:

However, as a lifelong Friends fan, I need more. The reunion show was so close I could taste it - and now I need something I can really get my teeth into. Well, food puns aside, that 'something' has arrived, in the form of the official Friends cookbook.

From author Amanda Lee, the Friends: The Official Cookbook is currently available to pre-order on Amazon for $29.99 (or £20.84 in the UK).

Food plays a HUGE part in the hit US sitcom - after all, Monica is a chef, Phoebe is a vegetarian, Chandler hates Thanksgiving food, Rachel once made that infamous trifle, that was Ross' sandwich, and any Friends fan worth their salt will be able to tell you that the Joey Special is TWO PIZZAS!

But now you will be able to recreate all the most iconic foods mentions throughout the show thanks to the official cookbook.

The description reads:

"Gather your friends and prepare to say 'How you doin'?' to more than fifty recipes inspired by the beloved hit sitcom.

"Whether you're a seasoned chef like Monica Geller, just starting a catering business like Phoebe Buffay, or a regular old food enthusiast like Joey Tribbiani, Friends: The Official Cookbook offers a variety of recipes for chefs of all levels.

"From appetizers to main courses and from drinks to desserts, each chapter includes iconic treats such as Monica's Friendsgiving Feast, Rachel's Trifle, Just for Joey Fries, Chandler's 'Milk You Can Chew,' Phoebe's Grandmother's Cookies, and of course, The Moist Maker.

"Complete with more than seventy recipes and beautiful full-color photography, this charming cookbook is both a helpful companion for home cooks and a fun homage to the show that's always been there for you."

Could I BE any more excited??
