Arya Stark was definitely the MVP in last night's 'Game of Thrones'

Wow. Okay, you guys. Let's take a deep breath, and for a second, let's think about this latest episode of Game of Thrones. Wow. So, after two episodes of build-up and personal conflict, it was finally time for the final season of this HBO fantasy epic to kick things up a gear.

Here's what we could expect heading into episode three of Game of Thrones:

But we weren't ready for how the Battle of Winterfell was set to play out. We. Were. Not. Ready. Of course, with the show really insisting on those dark scenes, we couldn't exactly see everything going on, but what we did see was pretty hard to misinterpret, wasn't it?

Arya Stark killed the Night King. The Night King is dead, and Arya Stark killed him. And although this was pretty much a battle between most of the primary cast of the show and the threat that's been looming for the past seven and a bit seasons, there's no doubt that The Battle of Winterfell was an Arya Stark episode.
