You don't have to be watching Disney+'s brand new series Star Wars: The Mandalorian to have come across Baby Yoda. And that's because all sorts of memes have been cropping up in honour of the little guy, whose name is still unknown. Needless to say, (I mean, have you seen him?) he's been warming hearts across the globe.

Baby Yoda's role in Star Wars: The Mandalorian - which premiered on Disney's new streaming service earlier this month on November 12 - has been a real highlight for many. So it's hardly a surprise that the adorable character has taken the internet by storm.

While the character isn't actually the late Yoda from the main Star Wars series - Baby Yoda is, of course, from the same species as his predecessor.

The first two episodes of the new show are currently available to watch in the United States, Canada and the Netherlands.

The show will be available to watch in the United Kingdom when Disney+ launches over there on 31 March 2020.
