Every once in a while, in the wave of reboots that seems to be flooding Hollywood lately, there comes a remake that's absolutely worth watching. Sure, there have been plenty of lacklustre and mediocre attempts to bring back old franchises, but Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle wasn't one of them.

When Sony Pictures announced they were reimagining the classic '90s Robin Williams movie, many fans of the classic, with a nostalgic attachment, groaned in contempt.

However, when the movie came out (starring The Rock, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas and Jack Black) it surprised viewers by actually being pretty damn good.

Instead of a board game, Jumanji was now a video game, which meant that the story could lampoon the tropes and clichés associated with modern (and retro) games.

Since it did pretty well at the box office, grossing over $962 million worldwide, it inevitably spawned a sequel. And now, the trailer for the Jumanji threequel, entitled Jumanji: The Next Level, has dropped on social media. Check out the awesome trailer above!

In addition to two members of the original cast of teenagers-turned videogame avatars, the adventurers are going to be joined by two senior citizens, played by Danny DeVito and Danny Glover. The new players will have to brave the elements to escape lurking dangers and save Jumanji once again.

Jake Kasdan will direct the movie, and Jeff Pinker and Scott Rosenberg wrote the screenplay. Personally, I'm sure that this follow-up will be a worthy addition to the franchise's last two movies. And, at the end of the day, doesn't Danny DeVito makes anything worth watching?
