The first trailer for season four of Stranger Things has just been released by Netflix.

Netflix announced back in September 2019 that the show would be returning for a fourth season, and there are certainly some big questions to be answered after the dramatic conclusion to season three.

Though the Duffer brothers had previously stated that they would not go beyond a fourth season of the smash hit show, producer Shawn Levy later conceded that the rapturous enthusiasm of fans and the child cast could convince them to carry on for longer.

“The truth is we’re definitely going four seasons and there’s very much the possibility of a fifth,” he said. “Beyond that, it becomes I think very unlikely.”

And going by the trailer it certainly looks as though Jim Hopper is very much alive, much to the presumed enthusiasm of Stranger Things fans everywhere. As yet there is no confirmed release date for the new season.
