After the events of Infinity War last year in 2018, there was some understandable doubt about all of the interesting sequels Marvel had lined up. Follow-ups for Dr Strange, Black Panther and more were all slated to hit our screens over the next five or so years, but everybody was... dead.

Like this poor guy. I don't feel so good either, buddy:

Once the credits began to roll on Avengers: Endgame, we were flying through an emotional rollercoaster over that ending. But once our hearts had calmed down and we could begin to process what we'd just seen, we could start to look forward to those sequels we knew were going to happen.

Thinking about how we left things with Star-Lord, Rocket Racoon and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy, there's some really interesting plot stuff to explore in the third movie, and you'll be glad to hear that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will start filming next year.

After a controversial firing last year, you'll be happy to hear James Gunn, the director of the first two, has returned for the third - and with all of the cast back on board too, this including Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, and Chris Pratt, it's set to be a hell of a time.

Take a trip down Memory Lane, with the very first trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy:

Along with sequels to Dr. Strange and Black Panther, we can expect two more new films to hit screens with the Marvel logo on it in the next few years.

The Hollywood Reporter says we've got Eternals, which stars Angelina Jolie (who took her sweet time entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe) and Shang-Chi, centred on an Asian superhero, to look forward to.

Well, I don't know about you, but with James Gunn back onside (and one other character who I didn't see coming starring in the movie), this could be a romp on the level of the first two movies. Fantastic!

And why not check out the time we sat down with Guardians star Dave Bautista?
