Christmas is the point of the year when like clockwork, the aspirations and hopes of the year just gone begin to dissolve away, and you stop looking forward and settle into some good old traditions.
For some of us, that means hanging out with family, for others it can mean eating a lot of food, but for it means watching tons of Christmas movies, and there's really no better place for that than the Hallmark Channel.
And although we're still kind of not really celebrating summer just yet, once the clocks go back and the nights grow long again, it'll be nice to look forward to the Christmas period with Hallmark. And wouldn't you know it, you won't even have to wait that long!
Credit: 875That's right - to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Hallmark Christmas movie magic, the channel is releasing 40 Christmas movies, and we've got a little bit of Christmas in July to look forward to to start things off. Hallmark are coming out with two Christmas movies this summer to get you in the Christmas mood, and you're going to want to check these out.
First up in our Christmas in July special, we've got newcomer Lily Anne Harrison, who stars in Christmas Camp - out on July 7.
Harrison stars as Hayley, who - you guessed it - is an advertising executive who's taking on a toymaker client. To get to know her clients on a personal level, she takes them to a Christmas Camp, where she (obviously) falls in love with the camp owner's son, and (also obviously) learns the true meaning of Christmas.

A Merry Christmas Match stars Ashley Newbrough and Kyle Dean Massey, and involves Newbrough's character Corey as she questions her decision to leave her tiny ski village home to chase her dreams of being a theatre director. That hesitation may or may not have something to do with the handsome man who shows up at her mother's antique shop. Played by Massey, obviously.
Of course, we've got another 38 movies to look forward to by the time we're singing carols by the Christmas Tree, but that's a long way away. Be patient. But for now, you've got these two fantastic-sounding movies to get you in the Christmas spirit!
Just five and a bit months to go.
