If you saw It last year, you're probably still having nightmares about creepy clowns. The movie was adapted from Stephen King's very long, very good, very weird 1986 novel. Every 27 years, an evil entity awakens from slumber and terrorizes the children of Derry, Maine. Most often, it manifests itself as Pennywise the Dancing Clown. But while it hunts its prey, it changes its shape to exploit the specific fears of its victims. The eldritch monster feeds on humans, and frightened humans taste better, like "salting the meat." (Try it sometime!)

In the first movie, we saw the main characters as children in 1989. Mocked as misfits and harassed by bullies, they became fast friends. Then the 'losers club' discovered there was a clown demon thing feasting on kids. Since the adults were like 'whatever,' the group journeys into the sewers and defeats Pennywise in battle. But that's only half the story. It: Chapter Two takes place 27 years later, when the kids are all growed up, and Pennywise returns.

The cast is confirmed, and it's pretty much perfect. Here are the actors playing the grown-up 'losers' in It: Chapter Two.

Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh

Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty, The Help) will play Beverly, a tough girl who has the misfortune to be in abusive relationships.

Andy Bean as Stan Uris

Andy Bean (Allegiant, Power) will play the reluctant, methodical Stan.

Bill Hader as Richie Tozier

Bill Hader (Barry, Saturday Night Live) will play Richie, the smartass impressionist.

Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon

Isaiah Mustafa (Old Spice commercials, Shadow Hunters) will play Mike, a character who becomes obsessed with Derry's tragic history. Well, in the book, anyway. In the first movie, they gave the 'librarian' part of his character to Ben for some reason. I guess now he's just the guy with the cattle gun?

James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak

James Ransone ('Ziggy' in The Wire, Sinister) will play asthmatic mama's boy Eddie.

Jay Ryan as Ben Hascomb

Jay Ryan (Beauty and the Beast TV series, Neighbors) will play Ben, the clever, sensitive architect with a crush on Bev. (Yes, he's skinny as an adult.)

James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough

James McAvoy (X-Men, Split) will play "Stuttering Bill," the loser's leader, emotionally scarred from the murder of his little brother. (Don't talk to clowns in sewers, kids.)

Teach Grant as Henry Bowers

Henry Bowers, the dirt-poor psychopathic bully, is not one of the Losers Club. But he plays an important role in Chapter Two. After murdering his father, he's committed to an insane asylum, and let's just say Pennywise sends him a Facebook friend request. Teach Grant (Damnation, Altered Carbon) will play the grown-up Henry.

Looks like a great cast. In an interview, Finn Wolfhard said Bill Hader would be his first choice for grown-up Richie.

It: Chapter Two will be released in September 2019.
