On Friday, Netflix dropped the latest installment in their 'Haunting' series with The Haunting of Bly Manor.
And if you're anything like me, you spent the entire weekend binge-watching the hotly anticipated horror drama, looking for all the subtle details show creator Mike Flanagan became known for thanks to Hill House.

Yes, there were several similarities Bly Manor shared with Hill House - and not just 80% of the same cast. Eagle-eyed viewers will have been scanning their screens to try and spot all the "hidden ghosts" that became so popular in the first installment of the show.
And despite catching a good dozen upon my first watch, it turns out there were over 50 creepy ghouls hidden in Bly Manor.
**It should go without saying, but SPOILERS ahead** How many of these do you spot?
1. An easy one to start with. Dani's ex-fiancé in London. Episode 1 at 06:16: [[imagecaption|| Credit: Netflix]]
2. And in the righthand corner as Flora discusses the "perfectly splendid" stairs, the plague doctor can be seen. Episode 1 at 20:52: [[imagecaption|| Credit: Netflix]]
3. And just seconds later, the plague doctor can be seen again behind the banister. Episode 1 at 21:01: [[imagecaption|| Credit: Netflix]]
