This November marks the 30th anniversary of the first movie in the Home Alone film series starring Macaulay Culkin.
As many are aware, President Donald Trump made a brief cameo in the second film in the series: Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
But according to the movie's director Chris Columbus, Trump "[bullied] his way into the movie".
In an interview with Insider, Columbus was asked what he remembers from shooting the Trump cameo.
Check out President Donald Trump's famous cameo in Home Alone 2:The director explained that with most locations in New York City, you simply pay a fee and are then permitted to shoot in that location.
"We approached The Plaza Hotel, which Trump owned at the time, because we wanted to shoot in the lobby. We couldn't rebuild The Plaza on a soundstage," he recalled.
"Trump said OK. We paid the fee, but he also said, 'The only way you can use the Plaza is if I'm in the movie.'"
So execs agreed to put the renowned businessman in the movie, and when it was screened for the first time, people reportedly cheered when he appeared on-screen.

Columbus explains: "So I said to my editor, 'Leave him in the movie. It's a moment for the audience.'"
He then adds: "But he did bully his way into the movie."
A number of people have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the interview - and the social media platform is divided.
Twitter user Lula L Punch responded to the claim that he bullied his way into the movie, writing: "Always the bully. He's too silly to understand most people don't want him around so he just bullies his way in. @realDonaldTrump."
A more skeptical Twitter user said: "The director shot nearly the entire movie at The Plaza. Which @realDonaldTrump owned back then. So... highly doubt it. This guy is just trying to be relevant in the Hollywood Trump-hate parade."
Another agreed: "So the guy who owns the hotel says part of the deal is allowing him to make a cameo bullied his way into the film. They could have walked away. Spare me."
