As something of a latecomer to Disney, my level of excitement rarely reaches the incandescent levels of some of my contemporaries when new films from the widely-loved animated film studio are released.
Yes, 'You're Welcome' from Moana is a certified banger (unpopular opinion, 'Shiny' is actually way more of a certified banger), and yes, it was fun to watch Ellen Degeneres play a loveable fish with short term memory loss, but that's about as far as my excitement typically stretches.
Having said that, Disney's up-coming live-action remake of Aladdin did pique my interest, not least since they released the first image of Will Smith in his role as the genie with a quite astonishingly panto-esque beard.
Take a look for yourself:

However, there's one particular character that's got movie fans decidedly hot under the collar, and it's the villain, Jafar, who is so attractive that he's got Disney fans seriously questioning their allegiance to good versus evil.

It's really thrown people.

I mean, some people have just gone all out and declared their loyalty to Jafar and his eternal hotness.

It seems that there's only going to be one star of the new Aladdin film as far as these fans are concerned.

It's Jafar's world now, people, and we're all just living in it.
