It's been 25 years since Friends first aired, and the award-winning sitcom is still just as beloved as ever.

The cast has all gone on to other things since the show ended, but as the anniversary has come upon us, it's been a good excuse for fans, and the cast and crew to get nostalgic about the show that defined a decade. But now, actress Jennifer Aniston has paid tribute to the show in the best way.

She's just christened her own Instagram account by posting a heartwarming selfie with the rest of the cast: Courtney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and Matthew Perry. Aniston captioned the picture: "And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM [sic]."

Previously, Aniston had teased the possibility of joining Instagram in a prior interview. Per The Daily Mail, she stated: "[On social media] you can actually have a little bit more control over the narrative that's out there. [You can] right some wrongs and some silly things that, God knows, are said often. Maybe [I'll join]. You never know."

Commenting on the possibility of a movie, or of any kind of follow-up to the original series, Aniston stated: "Our producers wouldn't want it, wouldn't let us. Look, it's not been without our desire to, because our fans have wanted it so much ... It would have been fun. We could have redesigned it for a couple of episodes. But whatever. Maybe it's better this way, but we'll never know."
