Forget the final season of Game of Thrones, there's another highly anticipated television event imminent: Season 16 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Who cares about fire-breathing dragons, face-changing assassins, and a massive army of white walkers when you can watch rich people on a reality show complain about a lack of privacy? Winter is coming, but not if you live in the Calabasas!
E! just released a teaser trailer that promises way more drama than the Red Wedding. It begins with a clip of Khloé Kardashian sobbing over Tristan Thompson's cheating scandal. (It's unclear which one.) "It just sucks it has to be so public," she says, while blinking back tears. "I'm not just a TV show. Like, this is my life... Tristan might love me, whatever that means. He has no respect for me whatsoever." Then we see her yell "My family was ruined!" to someone on the phone.
Presumably the season features Tristan Thompson's first cheating scandal, from April 2018. Days before Khloé gave birth to their daughter, True, videos and photos surfaced of Tristan getting cozy with other women. However, it's possible the new season could include his latest cheating scandal, with Kylie Jenner's former BFF Jordyn Woods. According to Bustle, the season officially wrapped after that drama became public.
Reportedly Tristan cheated on Khloé with Jordyn at a house party, which led to the couple breaking up. However, on Jada Pinkett-Smith's Red Table Talk, Jordyn insisted they just kissed. Afterward, Khloe fired back on Twitter: "Why are you lying @jordynwoods ?? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!"
Then makeup mogul Jeffree Starr weighed in on the drama. "Jordyn really just said that on the way out of Tristan’s house, he kissed her on the mouth. That is a motherf*cking lie," he said in a video rant. "Y’all have been hooking up for a month or two. The whole city of Calabasas knows it. There’s eyes everywhere, there’s normal people that aren’t famous that are your neighbors, bitch. And everyone sees everything."
Sadly, the charismatic Jeffree Starr makes no appearance in the KUTK trailer. But it does feature Kim Kardashian contemplate moving her family to Chicago, Kris Jenner toast Kylie and Jordyn at a family event, and Kourtney Kardashian tell Scott Disick - what's that? You don't care? You just want to know if there any more juicy Khloé clips? Yes. One.
"True's the best thing that's happened to me, ever," Khloe says at the end of the promo. "Sometimes the world forgets just to be kind and that we're all going through something. Maybe just be a little more understanding because it f*cking sucks."
The new season premiers this Sunday on E!
