Kit Harrington is best known for his portrayal of a long-haired outsider who's resented by his mother, and now it seems he wants to play another one.

That's right, Harrington suggested he could be willing to relocate his acting talents from Westeros to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and he's even shared his thoughts on which characters he'd be most suited to.

Severus Snape obviously springs to mind as a dream character for anyone to play, with his unfathomable nature and his gradual, jagged navigation from evil to good. Harrington agrees that Snape would be an actor's dream to play, but doesn't feel he's quite right for the role. He said;

"Snape is the best character, ever. The storyline of Snape. Severus Snape is the most tragic, wonderful, brilliant...

"He's a character you hate, but you end up loving. He's just phenomenal. I don't think I'm right for him, so I'll play Sirius [Black]. But, whoever gets to play Snape, that's a great character."

In revealing his honest opinion on his lack of suitability for Snape, Kit did remark that he reckons he could play Sirius Black (who was portrayed by Academy Award winner Gary Oldman in the original movies).

What's more, Winteriscoming.net reports the actor as saying that he's a Gryffindor, adding "I've thought very deeply about it". As for his most famous character, Kit reckons that Jon Snow would be a Hufflepuff.

While there's no real talk about a Harry Potter prequel series (outside of the Fantastic Beats movies), it seems as though, should the time ever come around, Kit Harrington would be a willing participant.

As far as Daniel Radcliffe is concerned, though, there will most likely one day be more Harry Potter movies on the horizon. Back in February, the Potter star was quoted as saying;

"I definitely think there will be another version of it within my lifetime. It will be interesting to see. At the moment those films have sort of a sacred varnish on them, but that will be worn away at some point ... I'm just intrigued to see when that happens."

So what do you reckon? Will there be more Potter movies? And if so, will Kit Harrington play the much maligned Sirius Black?
