'L.A.’s Finest' is going to be your new obsession this summer
Get ready for your hot new TV obsession - here just in time for the summer!
While Bad Boys III is currently in the works, with both Martin Lawrence and Will Smith set to return, there's another bad*ss buddy cop duo that you need to check out on the small screen.
L.A.'s Finest is a spinoff from the Bad Boys series. It's set within the same universe as the hit action movies, but this time introduces kick*ss new characters and explosive new storylines, too.
The 13-part electrifying cop drama sees Gabrielle Union return to her much-loved character Syd Burnett.
Last seen in 2003's Bad Boys II, Syd has made the transition from undercover DEA agent to LAPD detective. Alongside her is Jessica Alba, who stars as her equally bad*ss new partner Nancy McKenna, a working mother with a history as complex as her teammate.
The summer vibes are strong heading into sunny Los Angeles - and with the Bad Boys heritage and a stellar cast like this one - it's liable to become a full-time obsession.

SO, to recap on why you really don't want to be missing out on this must-see thriller of a series, allow me to break things down for you with three perfect reasons:
1. It's from the producers of Bad Boys, so you know it's going to be a quality watch.
2. It's quite literally chock full of action. Like your dramas fast-paced and thrilling? L.A.'s Finest will keep you right on the edge of your seat.
3. Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union star in it together. I mean, can you think of a more iconic duo? Because I certainly can't.
Both these actresses have been putting out some quality material in their own right, but seeing them working as a team is on a whole 'nother level.
Not only that, but we'll be getting even more episodes in the near future, after a second season was recently confirmed to be on the way, so there's going to be even more on the way soon enough!
If you want to check out what all the fuss is about, look no further than FOX, where you can watch the explosive new series every Wednesday at 9pm.
