Lego is one of the world's most popular toys, and Friends is one one of the all-time most popular sitcoms. Now, the two have come together for the union none of us grownup kids knew we needed.

The announcement was cheekily made by the manufacturer on Twitter with a teaser video of the line and a caption followed by a wink:

"The one with LEGO bricks Coming soon."

As you can see, the collection will feature at least all six members of the beloved gang, squeezed onto a Lego replica of that famous sofa from Central Perk.

One thing's for sure, we can't wait to see what they all look like in Lego form (especially Joey), and we're not alone in being excited about the extremely nostalgic collection:

The announcement of the collection, which is so well done that we can recognize the characters just by the backs of their freakin' heads, inspired others to suggest other shows that could be made into Lego collections including The Office, Scrubs and Seinfeld.

However, as I'm sure you'll agree, there are few shows that are quite as rewatchable as Friends, making it the perfect inspiration for a toy or simply an item that will get admired time and time again.

While rumors of a reunion have been circulating on and off since it ended back in 2004 after ten seasons, at this stage, it seems unlikely, and we will forever reflect on the heartwarming moment Ross and Rachel finally decided it was meant to be.
