Marvel has confirmed that Guardians of the Galaxy protagonist Peter Quill, AKA Star-Lord, is bisexual.
Most people will know the beloved character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in which he is portrayed by actor Chris Pratt.
In the movie franchise, 41-year-old Pratt has starred as Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame.

Now, the latest edition of the comic, 'Guardians Of The Galaxy #9', has provided fans with an insight to the superhero's sexuality - portraying the Human/Spartoi hybrid in a polyamorous relationship with both a woman and a man.
Fans of the MCU movies will be aware of Quill's cinematic romantic relationship with the Zen-Whoberis and fellow Guardian's member, Gamora (portrayed by Zoe Saldana), but in the most recent comic, Quill meets two blue-skinned companions, Aradia and Mors.
In the storyline, Aradia and Mors invite Quill to join them in a relationship and experience their "togetherness" - but Star-Lord initially rejects the proposition in the hope that he will one day reunite with Gamora.
Written by Al Ewing, the new comic series later shows Quill throw himself into the relationship, as he shares a bath with both his new lovers.
Quill then tells Aradia and Mors: "It’s been over a decade... time to accept the truth.
"You’re my home… thanks for accepting me guys."
To which Mors replies: "Congratulations, Peter Quill. The you that was is over."
And this wasn't just some quick experimental fling for Star-Lord - oh no - as the comic goes on to reveal that their relationship lasts 100 years.
It is unknown if the romantic storyline will feature in future MCU movies, with the next Guardians of the Galaxy movie scheduled to be released in 2022.
In addition, as part of Disney Investor Day on December 10, the entertainment giants also announced a Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special - set to be released around the same time as the third installment of the movie series.
Disney also announced that James Gunn will return to the helm to write and direct the special.
But that's not all, fans of the adorable Baby Groot will be overjoyed to hear that the little tree will be getting his own series on Disney+.
"Everyone’s favorite little tree, Baby Groot, will star in a series of shorts on @DisneyPlus featuring several new and unusual characters.
"I Am Groot, an Original Series from @MarvelStudios, is coming to #DisneyPlus."
