I can guarantee you that Gordan Ramsay wouldn't mess with this Masterchef contestant.
Masterchef has always been a gripping reality cooking show, with the contestants very often crumbling under the heat and the pressure, resulting in mistakes and disgusting dishes.
However, one contestant on the Spanish edition of the show knew exactly what she was doing when she served up a whole and still-feathered dead partridge to the judges.
Check out the stomach-churning moment in the video below:Contestant Saray Carrillo had been asked to prepare and cook the partridge, despite previously revealing on the show that she had a fear of handling birds, the Metro reports. Carrillo apparently saw the challenge as a deliberate attack on her - but she was prepared to hit back.
Now, prepping a whole bird is a relatively expected task for the hopeful amateur cooks to perform, but Carrillo remained unyielding, and instead chose to serve the whole bird - complete with feathers - to the judges.
Presenting the "dish" with a slight smirk, Carrillo even sarcastically garnished the plate with a couple of cherry tomatoes and placed the bird on a bed of spring onions.
The judges' faces were a sight to behold, as some of her fellow contestants watched on with their hands over their mouths - stunned at what they were seeing.
One judge looked at the meal and said (translated into English): "This has never been seen on MasterChef."
A person on Twitter even compared Carrillo's protest to that of Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games series:
It probably comes as no surprise that Carrillo's stunt resulted in her being immediately booted off the show. Some of the judges even declared that the fact she made it onto the show was a "mistake".
But, Carrillo was undeterred, and simply shrugged and said "bye, bye", before removing her apron.
Carrillo may not have one the show, but I can guarantee people will be reliving this moment on YouTube for years to come.
