You, the stalking tale of terror and intrigue that captivated Netflix audiences last year, recently returned for its second season.

Season one saw obsessive stalker Joe Goldberg go to astonishing lengths to engineer a relationship for himself with the unsuspecting Beck, leaving a trail of bodies and secrets in his wake.

Here's the chilling trailer for You season two:

Now, without giving away any season 2 spoilers, I think it would be fair to say that the show has cranked up the stakes even higher for season two, as Joe moves to Los Angeles from New York to escape his dark past and start his life over again with a new identity.

You was a huge success for Netflix, which is why it's a pretty big deal that Unforgettable, which is now on the streaming service, is drawing favourable comparisons.

A synopsis of the movie reads;

"Barely coping with the end of her marriage, Tessa Connover learns that her ex-husband, David, is now happily engaged to Julia. Trying to settle into her new life, Julia believes she has finally met the man of her dreams, the man who can help her forget her troubled past. Soon, Tessa's jealousy starts to consume her, and she will stop at nothing to turn Julia's paradise into the ultimate nightmare."

Unforgettable was released in 2017, but is sure to get a new lease of life now it's been added to Netflix.

And there are similarities between Unforgettable and You - social media is weaponised in both, while stalking is a theme the two dramas also share.

Social media users have been effusive in their praise of the film since it appeared on Netflix:

So, it seems as though 2020 is going to be a good year for fans of creepy stalking dramas, with both You season two and Unforgettable to dig into.
