There's no doubt that beloved actor and comedian Robin Williams is sorely missed by his friends, family, and fans. Six years after his death, we all still revel in his many brilliant performances.

Although his parting opened up an important discussion about mental health issues, his loss was keenly felt by many.

However this week, Williams' daughter, Zelda Williams, managed to inadvertently go viral after she used a new Disney character app filter, and was matched with a character played by her late father.

The Disney app was created by Instagram user Arno Partissimo, and uses a special algorithm to scan its user's face and determine what Disney character they most resemble. The app then provides its users with a special face filter, so they can look just like the character they resemble.

Taking to Twitter this week, Zelda shared a short video of her experience with the app, which you can view above. It shows her using the app, only to end up landing the character of the Genie from Aladdin - who was famously portrayed by her dad in the 1992 animated movie.

Interestingly enough, Zelda's namesake stems from another famous fictional character. Per the Hollywood Reporter, Robin Williams was a keen fan of Nintendo's Legend of Zelda franchise, playing the original NES game obsessively when it was released in 1986.

As a result, he named his daughter after the eponymous princess, and Robin and Zelda later appeared in a commercial together to promote the Nintendo DS Remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

However, last year Zelda left us all heartbroken by paying tribute to her dad with an emotional birthday message on social media.
