'Stranger Things' fans are outraged as Noah Schnapp appears to drop huge spoiler for season five

Fans are in uproar after the official Stranger Things account on TikTok appeared to give out a massive spoiler for the show.

Yes, Stranger Things appears to have spoiled Stranger Things for some people - it’s spoiler inception.

SPOILER ALERT FOR STRANGER THINGS 5 - if you haven’t seen it already

OK, so we all know that Stranger Things is the biggest show in the world right now.

The final series is underway, and fans are rushing to check out what happens before the internet spoils it for them.

While you might expect to see some spoilers on sites like Reddit or in the comments of other posts about it, you wouldn’t expect the show to reveal details about itself on the official TikTok account, would you?

That’s what some are accusing Stranger Things of doing.

In a video posted yesterday, Noah Schnapp, who plays Will, gave away a key detail that it seems many hadn’t seen.

OK, this is your last warning - SPOILERS

In the short video, which was filmed on set, Schnapp could be seen talking about his first scene with Vecna, and a cool scene during the series where he has powers.

But, he also revealed that the source of Will’s powers is Vecna.

In the video, he said: “One kid this year came up to me and he was like ‘I know in this season Will has powers’

“And I was like [shrugs] I don’t know…”

“I am here fresh out of my scene filming the powers right there where I just killed three demos.

“Today was the coolest because I got to do all the badass powers and wear the contacts [lenses] and the sickest shot, which is the last shot.

“It’s kinda funny because it was my first time working with Vecna, and I was… I feel a little bit like a fangirl.”

Then, he went on to explain that Will is ‘siphoning’ these powers that don’t ‘come from him, it comes from Vecna’.

There’s a big spoiler there, some viewers claim.

One fan commented: “Siphoning his powers from Vecna? Is that not a spoiler?’

Another wrote: “Netflix just spoiled Netflix stuff.”

A third screamed: “HIS POWERS COME FROM VECNA!!??”

Yet another said: “Ain’t no way Stranger Things just spoiled Stranger Things for me.”

So, there you have it - hopefully this knowledge doesn’t affect your enjoyment of the show - maybe you’ve seen this bit already.

Either way, you can watch the first half of Stranger Things season five on Netflix right now.
