Meghan Markle's former Suits co-star provided a pretty awkward response when asked why the Duchess of Sussex had missed a recent cast reunion.
Even half a decade after its finale, Suits continues to command a loyal following, proving that some shows really do stand the test of time.

With its recent addition to Netflix, the series has not only rekindled the love of long-time fans but also roped in a fresh batch of binge-watchers eager to see what the fuss is all about. (Particularly now the show stars actual royalty.)
At the center of Suits is Mike Ross, a role immortalized by Patrick J. Adams — a brilliant but uncredentialed legal mind with a photographic memory. Mike's audacious move to practice law without a degree forms the backbone of the series, weaving through high-stakes cases and nail-biting moments that keep viewers glued to their screens.
The ensemble cast, featuring Meghan Markle (Rachel Zane), Gabriel Macht (Harvey Specter), Gina Torres (Jessica Pearson), Rick Hoffman (Louis Litt), and Sarah Rafferty (Donna Paulsen), turned Suits into a dynamic viewing experience from start to finish.
Their chemistry is palpable, both on and off the screen, as evidenced by their reunion at this year's Golden Globes — though notably absent was Meghan Markle, who has since traded her script lines for royal duties following her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.
Gina Torres, while chatting with reporter Marc Malkin, revealed a snippet about the cast's current dynamics, particularly concerning Meghan Markle.
The Firefly star explained that their group chat blew up when they were asked to reunite at the Golden Globes, adding: "Our text thread is insane right now, it's exciting."

When asked why Markle wasn't present at the reunion, Torres responded: "We don’t have her number."
Oooft.
"We just don’t," Torres added, hinting that while the Duchess of Sussex might be out of the group chat loop, there’s no ill will — just a natural drift as lives dramatically diverge. "She'll see, she'll watch. She'll be happy that we're here," Torres continued.
Patrick J. Adams echoed this sentiment on his podcast, Sidebar, noting that while they're not in regular contact, Meghan reached out to commend him on his new venture, addinf that it was "so lovely to still have that kind of support and friendship after so many years apart".
Despite her absence from less formal cast gatherings, Meghan continues to dazzle on her own terms. Most recently, she turned heads at the LA Children's Hospital Gala, stunning in a recycled scarlet Carolina Herrera gown.

She had previously donned the dress back in 2021 at a gala in New York City, but this time around she ditched the detachable skirt train.
