Back in 2008, we all bore witness to some of the more bizarre tactics of seduction imaginable, as an undead, centuries old vampire became romantically involved with a 17-year-old high school student. And we were all weirdly ok with it, weren't we?
Sure, telling someone you're a dangerous killer with a lust for blood and have skin that becomes effervescent in sunlight might not be the most conventional method of garnering romantic interest, but it's hard to argue with the fact that it worked for fictional do-gooder vampire Edward Cullen.

After a relatively small (yet hilariously acted) role in Twilight, Anna Kendrick has gone on to become a true superstar of Hollywood. A household name.
So Twilight has been and gone, but the stars that made their names by appearing in it have gone on to have great careers. The saga may have had its critics, but it certainly made a fair few of its actors household names.
