Buckle up Tiger King fans, the trailer for season 2 has finally been released by Netflix.

Today, the streaming service offered us a first glimpse at the follow-up to 2020's wildly successful docuseries about Joe Exotic, and other private big cat owners in America.

The synopsis reads: "With Joe Exotic behind bars and Carole Baskin closing in on ownership of his disreputable zoo, the Emmy-nominated saga continues its twisted course with Tiger King 2 as newfound revelations emerge on the motivations, backstories, and secrets of America’s most notorious big cat owners.

"Old enemies and frenemies, including Jeff Lowe, Tim Stark, Allen Glover, and James Garretson return for another season of murder, mayhem, and madness. Thought you knew the whole story? Just you wait."

Sharing the trailer to their official Twitter account, Netflix captioned it: "We thought we'd seen it all — but we'd only scratched the surface."

In the first look at the upcoming show, there are calls with Joe Exotic - real name, Joe Schreibvogel- and a closer look at his ongoing rivalry with his long-term enemy, and animal sanctuary owner, Carole Baskin.

Exotic is currently serving 17 years in prison for several counts of animal abuse, as well as two accounts of attempted murder for hire to kill Baskin.

But although Baskin is seen in the trailer, she has previously said that she would not be returning for the sequel, according to The Sun.

"I don't know how they put out a [Tiger King 2] when Joe's in jail and I'm refusing to be played again," Baskin said. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

The CEO of Big Cat Rescue added that she told execs to "lose my number" and that "there is no explanation for such a betrayal and false portrayal."

Here, Baskin is responding to the insinuations made over the mysterious death of her second husband, Don Lewis, in the original Tiger King.

But while Baskin is apparently not returning, other cast members are, including Jeff Lowe, Tim Stark, Allen Glover, and James Garretson.

Tiger King 2 is available to stream from November 17 on Netflix.
