Guys... it's finally happened.

When rumors started circulating that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire would be reprising their roles as Spider-Man to star alongside Tom Holland in No Way Home, fans of the web-slinging franchise wanted just one thing.

At one point in the movie, all three Spidies had to be suited up and pointed at each other, recreating the famous meme that stems from the 1967 animated Spider-Man series.

Now, finally - in a tweet to promote the upcoming 4K UHD & Blu-ray release of the movie - Sony has finally given us the meme the world wanted.

No... the meme the world needed. Check it out:

In the tweet, Sony even jokes: "of course, we got THE meme."

As mentioned previously, the original meme comes from a shot taken from the animated show from the 60s. In the episode, an actor-turned-criminal tried to conceal his identity by dressing up as the wall-crawling hero. However, he soon finds himself face-to-face with the real Spider-Man during an art robbery.

A third animated Spider-Man was later added by fans upon hearing the rumors that Garfield and Maguire may be featured in 2021's No Way Home.

And although some people were satisfied by brief moments in the movie where all three characters point at each other in a school science lab and during the epic final battle on the Statue of Liberty - they weren't anything on the glorious meme we have been gifted today.

As of this writing, the tweet has amassed over 87,000 'likes' and 23,000 retweets (and the number just continued to climb every time I return to the page).

The official Spider-Man: No Way Home page even joked in a second tweet: "your new lock screen just dropped".

One Twitter user was even kind enough to place the three actors in the location of the animated meme:

Even the person running the Domino's Pizza Twitter page ("Pizza time!") was so happy with the meme, that they tweeted: "Admin likes this meme better than pizza. Don’t tell my boss."

Garfield recently told Deadline that he was the one responsible for incorporating the meme into the movie during the final battle. He told the publication:  "We were trying to figure out the pointing thing, like how we were going to do the pointing meme in a way. It took us a while — it kind of happened naturally on that scaffolding scene with Peter 1, Peter 2, Peter 3, like all that."

I am thankful for all of this. My 2022 has peaked. Goodbye.
