Earlier this year, the world was captivated by the Netflix docuseries Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness.
Nobody could have predicted the cultural phenomenon that show would go on to become - but now HBO has dropped the trailer for the show that many believe is the "next Tiger King".
The show is called Class Action Park, and it tells the story of "the world's most dangerous amusement park" - and the trailer looks absolutely INSANE.
Check out the adrenaline-fuelled trailer below:Located in New Jersey, throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Action Park earned a reputation as the world's most insane water park. A place that combined alcohol and liquor with attractions that looked like they were designed for a Loony Tunes cartoon - such as the infamous 360-degree Cannonball Loop waterslide.
Put simply, this place was a major health risk - and a place where people died.
A synopsis for the show reads:
"To some, New Jersey's infamous Action Park was the most spectacularly fun amusement park on Earth: A place where unruly 1980s teenagers were given free rein to go gonzo on strange contraptions that seemed to violate the laws of common sense (and perhaps physics).
"To others, it was an ill-conceived death trap. One thing is sure: It's the type of place that will never exist again."
As one expert in the trailer says: "I don't know how many people died as Action Park but it wasn't just one person."
This is swiftly followed by another expert saying: "Nobody should ever be the second person to die in the wave pool - close the f***ing wave pool!"
Per the show's official website, the documentary will be the first "to explore the legend, legacy, and truth behind a place that long ago entered the realm of myth.
"Shirking the trappings of nostalgia, the film uses investigative journalism, newly unearthed and never-before-seen documents and recordings, original animations, and interviews with the people who lived it to reveal the shocking true story for the first time."
And it is safe to say that people cannot wait to see this documentary:
The documentary will be available to stream on HBOMax from August 27.
