Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale reunite 'High School Musical' on TikTok

For many kids growing up in the mid-2000s, High School Musical was one of their formative experiences. In case you were living under a rock back then (or, you know, were simply too old or too young for the target demographic) the movie's plot is your typical fare: jock boy meets a shy girl, a queen bee tries to keep them apart, and plenty of catchy tunes.

But this week, with many of us choosing to self-isolate in the midst of the coronavirus epidemic, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale (who played the characters of Gabriella Montez and Sharpay Evans respectively, have taken to social media to post some awesome High School Musical tributes for us all to enjoy.

Posting on her official TikTok account, Tisdale showed off her talents by stepping, clapping and spinning to the classic Disney tune: We’re All In This Together. She captioned the post: "If you need to work out while on #selfquarantine try this. hopefully this will brighten your day a little! [sic]"

Later, her former co-star Hudgens shared her own video, which saw her lip-syncing along to the song while drinking a bottle of red wine. Vanessa captioned her clip: "Well. It’s come to this. Lol @ashleytisdale maybe I start getting into tik tok? [sic]"
This isn't the first time that the stars have referenced the movie either. Back in November of 2019, Hudgens posted a video to her official Instagram account, which saw her singing along to 'We're Breaking Free' while performing karaoke.
