When the wildly popular You landed on Netflix, it brought about a whole new level of tech paranoia for many, as lead character Joe Goldberg stalked co-lead Beck using a combination of social media and caps pulled low over his face.
Everyone's favorite stalker drama left fans on a tantalizing hook at the end of season two, as Joe Goldberg peers through his fence at an as-yet unknown woman. Joe's voiceover says during the scene:
"This is just the beginning. Because this is where I had to be, exactly where I had to be to meet you.
"There you were with your books and your sunshine, so close but worlds away. I will figure out a way. A way to get to you. See you soon, neighbor."
Someone removed Joe's voiceover from 'You' and it makes the whole thing so much weirder:Naturally, speculation concerning who the woman might actually be has been rife ever since that cliffhanger moment, and it sounds as though we're going to find out much more about the mystery in season three of the hit Netflix show.
Yes, during a recent chat with Penn Badgley, who plays Goldberg, the show's creator Sera Gamble revealed that we're going to be seeing a lot more of the mysterious neighbor in season three.
The pair rewatched the finale of season two together, when Badgley said, "I want to ask you about what we're going to do here but you can't really tell us."

Gamble replied:
"It's pretty obvious when we were filming this that we were careful not to show too much of her because that role hasn't technically been cast yet.
"But there's lots to come with that neighbor."
Fans have been speculating as to the woman's identity for some time now, and one particularly persuasive theory posted to Twitter reckons that she might actually be Joe Goldberg's mom.
One Twitter user wrote, "I’m telling y’all the woman at the end is going to be Joe’s mom and not a new girl he’s obsessed with. I think she disappeared and started a new family and Joe finally decided to track her down for obvious reasons... He’s absolutely stalking his mom in S3 #YouSeasonTwo"
