The new Joker movie has managed to reignite the flagging interest in DC's properties after their cinematic universe didn't quite manage to get off the ground. But it's not the only film set in Gotham City that fans can look forward to.

Yes, it seems as though Warner Bros is looking to reboot Batman again, with Ben Affleck handing the cowl over to Twilight actor Robert Pattison, who will be playing the caped crusader in a movie simply entitled: The Batman.

So far, details on the movie, including the details of the plot and casting, have been extremely scarce. But now the studio has announced that a big name is set to portray Batman's main femme fatale and love interest, Selina Kyle: aka, Catwoman.

The part of the DC Universe's most dangerous cat burglar is due to be played by none other than Big Little Lies actress Zoë Kravitz. Variety reports that Kravitz managed to beat Zazie Beetz, Eiza Gonzalez, and Oscar-winning-actress Alicia Vikander to the part.

Jason Momoa, who recently portrayed the character of Aquaman, and who is actually Zoë's stepfather, took to Instagram to congratulate her on her timely casting, sharing a picture of the two of them together with his many followers.

Momoa captioned the picture: "I’m so proud of u zozo bear. On and off screen OHANA. DC WB ohana Lola and Wolfies big sister is CAT WOMAN??? Unbelievable so freaking stoked. Your going to have so much fun Aloha P bear [sic]."

Interestingly enough, Kravitz has actually portrayed the character of Catwoman already, lending her voice to a Lego version of the character in The Lego Batman Movie - which starred Will Arnett as Batman, Zack Galifianakis as The Joker, Michael Cera as Robin, and Billy Dee Williams as Two-Face/Harvey Dent.
