Halle Berry has received a deluge of positive comments on Instagram after sharing a picture of her natural hair.
The Academy Award-winning actor took to social media last week to upload the photo alongside the caption, "Sunday serve…my man loves this. Forward all complaints to him @vanhunt."
In the photo, Berry appears with an afro hairstyle, vastly different from a lot of the styles she has sported before. And the comments assure the 57-year-old that there are no complaints to be had, despite what Berry says in her caption.
A particularly impassioned follower commented, "You are truly one of the most beautiful amazing women on earth."
One user replied to the picture saying, "What complaints? It’s cute!!! and somehow makes you look way younger" while another commented, "You could be bald and you will always look amazing, kudos to your man for this look, you wear it well!"
Another reply read, "No complaints should exist, but my wife told me until me, she'd never heard a man encourage her natural hair. She said it was unheard of in the deep South when she was coming up. I'm glad you found the man to encourage you. You look extra awesome."
"Baby ain't no complaints. About what. Ms. Halle, you the whole damn package. I love it. Keep shining, love" came a further comment, with over 114,000 people liking the post at the time of writing.
Berry, who was the first woman of color to win the Academy Award for Best Actress, is set to star in upcoming Netflix production The Mothership, a science fiction adventure film in which, one year after her husband mysteriously vanishes from their rural farm, single mother Sara Morse (played by Berry) and her children discover a strange, extraterrestrial object underneath their home.
The Monster's Ball actor will also star alongside Mark Wahlberg and J.K. Simmons in action thriller Our Man From Jersey, which will also be distributed by Netflix. The film's release date is currently TBA and could be affected further by the current Hollywood strikes.
Berry has been dating Grammy award winning musician Van Hunt since 2020.
