Harry Potter fans have been left "so angry" after finding a deleted scene meant for Deathly Hallows: Part 1.
Now, just when we thought we'd seen it all, a resurfaced deleted scene from the iconic Harry Potter films has re-captured everyone's attention, especially after the strong reaction it received the first time.
It shows a scene where Dudley, the cousin who has bullied Harry for his entire life, finally calls for a truce between the two with the simple offering of a handshake.
The clip starts with the Dursley family piling into their car with all their belongings, finally deserting Harry after what's been years of torture for him.
However, just as they're about to leave, Dudley suddenly asks his father: "I don't understand. Is he not coming with us?"
"Who?" Vernon asks.
"Harry," he responds.
After questioning his father about why Harry's not coming with them, Harry then chimes in confirming the fact that he doesn't want to go with the family.
"Besides, I'm a waste of space. Isn't that right, Vernon?" he asks.
Rather than hitting back with a smart-a** comment like he usually would, Dudley actually walks over to Harry and shakes his hand, stating: "I don't think you're a waste of space," to which Harry replies with: "Thanks."

"I'm so angry this was deleted," wrote one user under a YouTube clip posted two years ago. "This only helped to prove that Dudley was manipulated by his parents, and really shows how much he's grown as an individual."
"This was one of my favorite parts in the books. Dudley had been leaving Harry alone over the years and stopped bullying him ages ago, you could tell he had started to change and was trying to better himself in the background," added another.
"Why this was deleted I'll never understand. Such a good scene, packed with meaning," a third also wrote.
And this user agreed with everyone else, stating: "Damn shame they left this scene out. It’s always nice to see character development."
This YouTube user also had their own suggestions closer to the actual rendition in the books as to what would have made the scene all the more perfect.
"Love the way he looked at his dad dead in the eyes while he closed the door and walked over to Harry to shake his hand like a man and let bygones be bygones... should have never been cut, should have added in a little, 'I won't forget that you saved my life Harry, thank you.'"
I mean, you have to admit, it's pretty cool to see them finally call a truce after so many years of being rivals.
Dudley and Harry's relationship stayed pretty strained over the entirety of the books, however, after an attack by a bunch of dementors wherein Harry saved his cousin's life, Dudley suddenly became more grateful.
According to Fandom, a place where devout Potterheads can gather to discuss all things related to the movie, "Dudley and Harry eventually reconciled as adults, remaining on 'Christmas card terms' and visiting each other occasionally. At these times, Harry's three children and Dudley's children would all play together while their fathers would sit together quietly.
"When his mother, Petunia, died, Dudley was still on good terms with Harry. While cleaning out her possessions, he found the blanket that Harry had been wrapped in when he arrived at 4 Privet Drive and mailed it to him, believing that Petunia wanted him to have it," the website added.
A good enough ending for the relatives.
