Hugh Jackman celebrated his 55th birthday alongside his estranged wife, Deborra-Lee Furness.
On Friday (October 13), the X-Men star took to Instagram to share a candid photo of him at Ralph Lauren’s Polo Bar in New York City holding a drink in his hand while he posed for the shot.
He was seen wearing a smart white shirt with a few buttons from the top undone giving fans a glimpse of his chest while a pair of bold frames sat tucked in the opening. His hair was slicked back and his beard remained long and rugged - a look that only a man like Jackman could pull off.
"Thank you ALL for the birthday love!!! I’m reading your messages, seeing the special videos and experiencing all the feels," he wrote in the caption.
Hundreds of fans took to the comments to wish the star a very happy birthday.
"Happy birthday. Many blessings for you today and always," wrote one user.
"Hey, we have the same birthday! Hope the year ahead is full of amazing hiking adventures! Happy trails, Hugh!" added another while a third said: "Such a beautiful human. The eyes tell it all. Hope you’ve had a wonderful evening."
The star then followed the post up with another snapshot for his Instagram Stories which showed the actor enjoying a delicious-looking ice cream a teacup with the words "Happy Birthday Hugh Jackman" written along the rim of the plate.

After the pictures were posted, it was revealed that his ex-wife also joined him during the celebrations, with a source later confirming to PEOPLE that it was a "great celebration" with his close family and friends.
The news comes just a few weeks after it was announced that Jackman and Furness are getting divorced.
In a joint statement to PEOPLE, the pair confirmed the news, stating that the split was amicable.
"We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth."
"Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness," they added. "We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives."

The couple had been married for 27 years and share two children - Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18.
