Jamie Foxx has been pictured for the first time since he was hospitalized back in April.
It was originally reported that the star had been rushed to hospital after suffering a "medical complication."
The 55-year-old's daughter Corinne Foxx took to Instagram on April 12 to share the news, writing: "We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday [Tuesday]."
She continued: "Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time."
TMZ also reported that a source close to the actor revealed that he was "communicating now, and that's good news" after being unable to do so initially.
To add to the severity of the situation, the outlet also added that the star's medical emergency was "serious enough" to reunite family members that were out of town so Foxx could have a strong support system around him.
It comes as Foxx was filming his latest movie, Back In Action, in Atlanta, Georgia, when the health scare occurred.
Since the news broke, there has been intense speculation into the matter, with many wondering what had actually happened to the star.
The family kept pretty tight-lipped on the situation, however Corinne did reveal that her father was recovering well at a rehabilitation centre in Chicago on May 12.
Now, just a few months on, Foxx has finally been seen publicly for the first time since his hospitalization.
As per a video released by TMZ on Sunday, the Django Unchained alum was seen smiling and throwing up the peace sign while sporting an all-black ensemble as he cruised down the Chicago River on a boat.
Page Six reported that he was joined by "at least two other passengers."
While a lot of fans were glad to see the actor out and about again, others couldn't help but speculate further about potential issue with his health.
"Jamie Foxx seen here on a boat in Chicago for the first time since his health incident," one user wrote. "No word to his concerned fans. No short video message. Now, just out on a boat? What’s the real story here?"
Another user who goes by the handle 'HealthRanger' had some more specific ideas writing: "Jamie Foxx filmed NOT walking, NOT talking, and only waving with one arm, all of which is consistent with a stroke victim who still has motor control over half his body, but not so much the other half. We hope he heals quickly, but those who think this is proof that he's all fully recovered now are kidding themselves."
And a third also had a similar thought process, sharing screenshots of a text exchange between themselves and a "medical doctor" who suggested that one side of him could be "paralyzed."
Others have debunked that theory by stating that he most likely had a phone or drink in his hand, that's why he could only use one.
Foxx has still not yet addressed the health scare.
We're glad to see the actor in good spirits after such a turbulent few months.
