Now, on the off chance that you're unfamiliar with one of the latest NSFW sagas on Instagram, let me explain: singer Jason Derulo has had a very NSFW picture of himself removed for violating the social media platform's guidelines.

In a picture that got tongues wagging, the singer's impressive 'anaconda' was more than a little visible to his 5.1 million Instagram followers. He simply captioned it: "Good Mornin' ?".

According to Instagram, the picture was removed because it violated its community guidelines, which don't allow for nudity or sexual content on the platform.

In a subsequent post (which still remains on the Cats star's profile), the singer hits back at the platform (and posts the picture again), writing: "F*k u mean? I have underwear on... I can't help my size..."

Now, TMZ has had a chance to interview the 30-year-old about the incident, and it looks like he will be having strong words with the people at Instagram for their decision to remove his original post.

When asked by the TMZ reporter: "Instagram is saying they took it down because you were aroused, were you aroused?"

The singer replied: "I was not aroused, that was the funny thing about it. I was literally, like, coming out of the water. You know what I'm saying? I don't want to say I was shriveled up, because I definitely wasn't like... You know, the cold shrivel? I might have had a semi. Not fully aroused, no way. An arousal looks different, you know what I'm saying? It's a different vibe. When it's fully aroused it's a different beast. It leans more to the front, you feeling me?"

Hilariously, Derulo added: "All jokes aside, I really do think it's discrimination".

In a prior interview with TMZ, Derulo explained how the picture came about:

"It was in Bali. I honestly [didn’t] feel like that was going to be my most liked picture when I woke up this morning. I posted the motherf*cker very early. It was [a photo] from months ago. It was not even something that I just did.

"Photoshop? Photoshop? Don’t make me [pull it out]. There are not enough women in this area. Just know that us Haitians, we look different."

Well, at least they haven't taken down his second, sneaky post of the image... yet.

The 'In My Head' singer has always been very proud of the hard work he puts into maintaining his impressive physique. In a recent interview with Men’s Health, the Cats star revealed there’s a lot more to that picture than him just turning up in Bali and taking his shirt off. As he put it:

"For all of you who feel like you don't have the genetics on your side—you feel like you gotta work harder than everybody else; you gotta eat cleaner than everybody else—I'm the same way,' he said about keeping his clean physique for his tour and the movie.

"Just because your friend can eat pizza and still have abs, that don't mean that you gotta do the same thing. If you know that you gotta eat cleaner, that's what you gotta do. But just know that you're not alone. S**t, I want some pizza too."
