In one of the messiest celebrity divorces of the year, it has now been reported that Joe Jonas has allegedly withdrawn divorce papers against Sophie Turner.
According to Page Six, "various agreements" have now been reached regarding the custody of the former couple's children with both parties aiming to "pursue an amicable resolution of all issues."
As a result of the said agreements, Jonas has filed to dismiss his petition for dissolution in Miami which allows for he and Turner to continue to settle their divorce in private.
In terms of the arrangements, it seems as though the pair have settled on alternating for two-week intervals until January 7, 2024.
This back-and-forth ensures both their daughters get to enjoy Thanksgiving with Jonas and Christmas with Turner, which in turn also gives them the opportunity to enjoy both their father's American culture as well as their mother's British one.
The couple released a joint statement to PEOPLE, highlighting their commitment to co-parenting: "After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the US and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents."
The news comes just a few weeks after it was announced that the popular couple would be calling it quits after four years of marriage.
Taking to Instagram on September 6, Turner shared a joint statement in which she revealed that the pair would be going their separate ways.
"Statement from the two of us: After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage," the statement read. "There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."
While Jonas also shared the same message, he elaborated on the difficulties of going through a public break up during a concert in Los Angeles at the Dodger Stadium just a week later.
Right before singing the group's song 'Hesitate' from their 2019 album Happiness Begins, which was allegedly inspired by Turner, an emotional Jonas told fans: "It's been a crazy week.
"I just want to say, if you don't hear it from these lips, don't believe it. Okay?" The musician - who was not wearing his wedding ring that night - continued: "Thank you, everyone, for the love and support to me and my family. I love you guys."
The 34-year-old singer initially filed for a dissolution of marriage claiming that "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken," according to documents obtained by PEOPLE Magazine.
Jonas and Turner are just one pair in a long list of celebrities that have called it quits this year including Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn, Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith, and Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness.
