Jonah Hill - or rather Jonah Hill Feldstein - has filed a petition to legally change his name, though it won't change how fans know him.
The actor, 38, is best known for his roles in The Wolf Of Wall Street and 21 Jump Street and is rarely known as anything other than Jonah Hill. Well, Hill is his middle name, but the actor is seeking to make his stage name official once and for all.
The star has been nominated for two Academy Awards during his career after a series of movie and TV roles, before landing a starring role in teen hit Superbad, which saw him come into his own.
As per TMZ, Jonah is now looking to legally go by the name that everyone has been calling him for years.
The Academy Award nominee filed the petition in Los Angeles this week to remove the family name Feldstein from his moniker and simply go by Jonah Hill from now on.
The move comes after Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul, 43, legally changed his name, along with his wife and sons.
He was born Aaron Paul Sturtevant but opted to use just his first and middle name, as he believed the surname to be too difficult for others to pronounce, per TMZ.
Aaron's wife Lauren Parsekian, 35, presented the paperwork to also change her surname to Paul, as well as looking to legally change the first name of their seven-month-old son to Ryden Caspian Paul from Casper Emerson Paul. The couple already shares a four-year-old daughter named Story Annabelle Paul.
The pair met at the music festival Coachella in 2009 and met again the following year after sharing a kiss. The question was popped in 2011 in Paris and the happy couple tied the knot in 2013.
The El Camino star recently reprised his role as Jesse Pinkman in the Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul, alongside co-star Bryan Cranston.
Luckily for us, we can continue referring to both Aaron and Jonah as we have done over the last few years, as the change will not impact their stage names in any way.
