Aaron Paul has filed a petition to legally change his surname, along with his wife and son.
According to TMZ, the 43-year-old actor - best known as Breaking Bad's Jesse Pinkman - has decided to undergo an official name change for all members of his family and submitted the documents to make it official.
Paul - who was born Aaron Paul Sturtevant - adopted his more well-known alternative moniker because his surname was too challenging for other people to pronounce.
Therefore, the Emmy-winning actor, along with his 35-year-old wife, Lauren Parsekian, have presented the paperwork to legally change both their surnames to Paul.
Furthermore, the couple has also filed papers to legally change the first names of their seven-month-old son to Ryden Caspian Paul from Casper Emerson Paul.
Documents obtained by the outlet revealed how Paul and Lauren were required to give their son a name at the hospital, however, they later changed their minds and wanted to switch the child's first names for the legal paperwork.
Ryden Caspian was born in April this year and is the couple's second child. They already share a four-year-old daughter named Story Annabelle Paul.
The parents have already been using the new name for their son on their social media pages and have explained that they want to create a consistent family name that links them to the El Camino actor's stage name.
The actor married his wife in 2013 after first meeting her at Coachella in 2009. The couple met again the following year and shared their first kiss at the music event.
In 2011, they visited Paris for New Year's Eve, with Paul proposing to her in the city of love.
Recently, Paul and his Breaking Bad co-star Bryan Cranston reprised their legendary roles for a crossover in the final season of Better Call Saul.
Cranston, 66, was the leading role in the popular series, playing a terminally-ill chemistry teacher who dealt methamphetamines alongside his former pupil Jesse in New Mexico.
The critically acclaimed series was a huge success, winning 16 Primetime Emmy Awards and two Peabody Awards as well as four Golden Globes and nine Critics' Choice Awards and a sea of nominations.
The series also featured household names and huge Hollywood stars such as Anna Gunn, RJ Mitte, and Saul Goodman star Bob Odenkirk.
