Kim Kardashian has, once again, sent social media users into a frenzy after she posted an unfiltered selfie on Instagram.
Now, we've seen many a selfie from the beauty mogul, whether it be bikini snaps, a SKIMS endorsement, or even just the odd candid.
However, while fans tend to get excited over any content posted by the Kardashian, they seem to particularly love her unedited selfies.
The socialite-turned-businesswoman recently published a seemingly unfiltered snapshot of herself sitting in a dentist's chair while sporting a high plait as well as a black hoodie. Across her chest laid a disposable piece of pink tissue which acted as a bib as the 42-year-old posed for the camera.

Thousands have also taken to the comments to praise the reality TV star for her post.
"Yes an unfiltered selfie," wrote one fan.
"This is what I think I look like in the dentist chair except I don’t," this Instagram user commented.
A third said: "Nice to see Kim’s skin without makeup or a filter."
And the comments didn't stop there.
"See!!! Shut up all those haters shes unfiltered unedited and still the most beautiful of all time," this passionate user wrote in the comment section.
"Such a beauty," another added. "Aging like fine wine."

However, not everyone was convinced that the snapshot was completely untouched.
On Twitter, fans were quick to point out that she "always has filters" while another claimed even if she doesn't, she has "plenty of Botox and fillers."
It's no secret that the Kardashians and Jenners have helped to normalize cosmetic work, even if they have denied it in the past.
Speaking to Allure back in August 2022, the 42-year-old denied having work done on her face, stating that she's had nothing more than "a little bit of Botox."
"No. I’ve never had eyelash extensions," she swore before adding: "I’ve never done anything. I have a drop of mascara on today. I’ve never filled my cheeks. I’ve never filled my lips."
When questioned if the lashes she had were her real ones as opposed to extensions, she claimed that they were in fact real.
"I care. I really, genuinely care about looking good," she explains to the outlet. "I probably care more than 90 percent of the people on this planet. It’s not easy when you’re a mom and you’re exhausted at the end of the day or you’re in school, and I’m all of the above. I do my beauty treatments usually late at night. After everyone’s in bed, I’m doing laser treatments."
Regardless of the debate surrounding this issue, there's one thing we can all agree on and that's Kim Kardashian really is the queen of selfies.
