Kim Kardashian revealed that she's not against taking drastic measures to maintain her youthful appearance, saying she would even "eat poop every day".
The 41-year-old reality TV star spoke to The New York Times in a recent interview about her latest entrepreneurial venture: a high-end skincare line called SKKN BY KIM that she'll "try anything" to preserve her youth.
The mogul announced her new skincare line on Instagram, writing: "I’m excited to finally introduce to you SKKN BY KIM, a rejuvenating nine-product skincare ritual that I have developed from start to finish."
The newly-launched brand is a "visionary nine-product ritual" that "delivers nourishment, renewal, and an indulgent at-home experience".
And in an apparent effort to showcase just how much youth and beauty mean to her, Kardashian told Times reporter Rachel Strugatz: "If you told me that I literally had to eat poop every single day and I would look younger, I might. I just might,"
Per the Huffington Post, the skincare line launches next month, and all nine items cost a total of $630 - a price Kardashian says is essential to guarantee results and quality products.
"The products I was using that were comparable were way more expensive, not to compare anything," Kim explained. "I tried to get the quality for the best price that we could, especially the vitamin C serum."
SKKN BY KIM joins the mom of four's existing makeup and shapewear lines, KKW Beauty and SKIMS. She added that her new business venture is credible.
"I think [my] credibility [comes from people] knowing that I got the best advice ever and the best formulations from some of the people that I just respect the most," Kardashian said.
In addition to speaking about her skincare routine, the SKIMS founder also revealed to NYT about her weight loss for the Met Gala this year and the controversy that arose. "I didn't do anything unhealthy," she said, comparing her weight loss to what Hollywood stars do for roles.
"To me, it was like, 'OK, Christian Bale can do it for a movie role and that is acceptable.' Even Renée Zellweger gained weight for a role. It's all the same to me. I wasn't saying, 'Hey everyone, why don't you go lose this weight in a short period of time?'" she told the outlet.
Kardashian added that she would not have attended the fashion's high-profile event if she hadn't achieved her weight-loss goal. "I just simply couldn't have gone, which wouldn't have mattered," she told the outlet. "It was just important to me to reach that goal."
SKKN BY KIM launches on June 21.
