Lady Gaga has wowed fans with the first look for the hotly-anticipated House of Gucci film as the trailer was released on Thursday, July 29.
The Grammy and Oscar-winning star, 35, transformed into her role as socialite Patrizia Reggiani in the movie, starring alongside big names Al Pacino, Adam Driver, Jeremy Irons, and Jared Leto.
The trailer heavily featured the pop star with a heavy Italian accent for her role as Patrizia - ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci. Needless to say, her stylish fashion ensembles caught the attention of many, too.
The film follows Gaga's character's plot to murder her ex-husband over fears their daughter wouldn't receive her $170 million inheritance and she wouldn't be entitled to a fair divorce settlement.
Maurizio's murder sent shockwaves through the fashion world after he was gunned down on the steps of his office in Milan.
Patrizia was convicted of hiring hitmen to murder him in cold blood in 1995 after he left her for another woman.
The socialite - who became known as the Black Widow - spent 18 years behind bars for arranging his murder.
Fans couldn't help but rush to Twitter to share their thoughts on the trailer as they praised Gaga for her incredible portrayal.
One wrote: "Lady Gaga handles her character so f**king gooooood. Her second Oscar is coming."
Another demanded: "Give Lady Gaga the Oscar right now."
"This is literally the peak of the entire cinema history," an excited Twitter user exclaimed.
A fourth fan added: "Oh, Lady Gaga is coming for that Best Actress Oscar, and with Blonde delayed until next year she might just be the new frontrunner. #HouseOfGucci."
While another wrote: "I definitely think Gaga will get a lot of critical acclaim and nominations for this role. I’m excited to watch her film career soar to higher lengths."
And while Gaga's resemblance to Patrizia was indeed uncanny, fans couldn't believe Jared's transformation into fashion designer Paolo Gucci.
The rocker and actor, 49, looked completely unrecognizable from his usual chic, slim self as he was aged with impressive prosthetics on his face.
Sporting a bald patch, receding grey hair, and aging prosthetics, fans refused to believe it was actually the 30 Seconds To Mars singer.
The singer-turned-actor is known for taking on roles that see him transform dramatically.
His previous credits saw him transform into a trans woman Rayon in his Oscar-winning role for Dallas Buyers Club, as well as into the iconic Joker in Suicide Squad.
Fans couldn't contain their shock at the actor's incredible transformation, as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
One fan wrote: "Jared Leto loves a transformation for a role and I’m here for it."
A second wrote: "Dude, that's Jared Leto? Unrecognizable. Wow. Give this movie all of the makeup #Oscars right now.”
"I AM SO READY. JARED LETO IS SO UNRECOGNIZABLE," wrote another.
