Lindsay Lohan has recently given birth to a baby boy with her husband Bader Shammas - and the little one's name has sparked a very positive reaction.

TMZ broke the news that 37-year-old Lohan and her 36-year-old husband welcomed their new arrival in Dubai, where the family resides.

The representative who shared the amazing news added: "The family is over the moon in love."

The couple has named their baby boy Luai, an Arabic name that translates to "protector" and it seems that it has gone down very well with fans.

One comment simply read: "That’s a beautiful name!!"

Another parent revealed that their child's name is also of Arabic origin, stating: "Congratulations!!! I love the name. My son's name is also Arabic meaning morning star. Sending you blessings."

A third person went into more detail about the name Luai, and it's evident opting for a name of Arabic origin has gone down very well.

"In many cultures, parents often name their children with special meanings and symbols," the comment began. "Choosing a name to represent protection and guardianship may reflect the parents' expectations and wishes for their child."

They continued: "Luai is a unique and meaningful name that imparts positive attributes to a child and wishes him to be strong, guardian and protective of others. Wishing Lohan, Bader Shammas and their son Luai all the happiness and joy in their family life."

Fans of the couple weren't the only ones thrilled over the new arrival, as Oscar-winning actress Jamie Lee Curtis took to social media to express how happy she was.

Curtis and Lohan had played a mother and daughter duo in Freaky Friday, and that led the Halloween actress to dub herself a "movie grandmother" following Luai's birth.

"MAGIC MONDAY! My movie daughter just made me a movie grandmother," Curtis wrote on Instagram. "Blessings to Lindsay and Bader for the birth of Luai!"

Curtis has been supporting Lohan through her pregnancy, as she has previously shared images of the pregnant actress during her baby shower, stating: "My friend and film daughter @lindsaylohan is growing up! So thrilled for her. What a mama she will be."

We wish Lohan and Shammas all the best as they start their exciting journey as parents!
