Mike Tyson is known for his skill in a fight.

But it turns out the former world heavyweight champion is also pretty good at dodging confrontation.

After a video emerged on social media of Tyson being supposedly challenged to a fight by a guy with a gun, the boxer won praise for keeping his cool and handling the situation in the best way possible.

In the clip - which is being widely shared online - Tyson can be seen at a small comedy show with a few friends. TMZ reports that the video was taken on Tuesday night at a rooftop bar in Hollywood.

At the start, Tyson can be seen enjoying the show from his front-row table. But it isn't long before things descend into chaos when a random man approaches Tyson's group and attempts to start chatting with him.

It's difficult to hear exactly what he says to Tyson, but Metro alleges that he was trying to challenge the heavyweight champion to a fight.

The boxer kept his cool and didn't get involved, but eventually, another man - who according to Metro was the host of the show - stepped over to intervene. When he asks the guy to stop interrupting the performances, he gets aggressive and reportedly pulls a gun out of his waistband.

At this point, everyone in the bar gasps and ducks under tables. Seeing the reaction, the man puts his gun away and approaches Tyson again, this time asking him not to call the cops. Tyson says nothing for a moment, watching the man carefully - then pulls him into a big hug.

Once Tyson has the guy in his grip, everyone calms down and people begin to leave the club. Metro reports that the man who started all the trouble soon left. In the clip, Tyson too can be seen leaving shortly after.

TMZ reports that there was no call made to the police, meaning the boxer kept his word not to alert the authorities.

Meanwhile, many viewers have taken to the comments section to discuss how calm Tyson remained throughout the incident.

"Mike wasn’t shook at all," one wrote, while another added: "Mike was too calm. He would’ve ripped dudes head off if they didn’t stop him."
