Megan Fox has opened up about the bizarre rules she makes her doctors follow before performing plastic surgery on her.
The Jennifer's Body star, 37, has long been the subject of plastic surgery rumors, but the actress has never spoken out about what she has or hasn't had done.
In a new interview with Alex Cooper on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the Transformers actress sat down for a candid chat in which she spoke openly about her procedures, including three boob jobs and rhinoplasty.
And while she admitted to going under the knife several times over the years, she also revealed that there are some rather odd rules her doctors have to follow before she will allow them to operate on her.
Megan revealed that she's never had anything done to her butt or had any fat removed as she would only consider surgeries that put more fat into her body.
Revealing what procedures she'd undergone, Megan explained: "What I have had done, like I said I had my boobs done when I was 21 or 22. I had them redone after I was done breastfeeding my kids, because I don't know where they went but they went.
"And then I had to have them redone very recently because the first set I didn't have enough body fat to disguise, you could see the rippling of the implants so I had to switch them out to this set."
When it comes to actually going under the knife to tweak her body, things aren't as straightforward as people would expect, as Megan admitted she has some very strange rules her medical team must follow.
And no, it's not anything like what you'd expect.
The mom-of-three admitted: "I don't like surgery, my body does not react well to general anesthesia, and so when I go to have a surgery it's a very big deal and all my doctors have to meet with me before and have to tell me if they've seen any omens - if they saw any owls, crows, if anyone stepped on a spider, if there are any dead insects...
"My doctors have to go through this with me because I am very afraid of dying under general anesthesia. So I don't take surgery lightly and therefore I have not had many of them because of that. So that's probably a saving grace that I have this paranoia or this fear because God knows what I would have been up to."
Alex, who'd been laughing behind her hand throughout the revelation, asked the actress if her doctors thought she was "insane" because of it, to which Megan responded that they "loved" her despite the questions.
The rules don't end when Megan's under, either, as she has specific rules for what the surgeons can and can't listen to while operating on her.
"By the way, I'm like I'll still pay for this surgery just do not... also just make sure the music playlist, no music comes up that reminds you of your ex-girlfriend or an ex-wife, or anything that's going to make you upset because you're the surgeon, you need to be in a good headspace," she added.
Megan continued: "If you have a fight with your wife, do not come in for surgery. I go through all of these protocols. Any surgery is a risk to your life, I don't care what anyone says. That's the truth, going under general anesthesia is a risk to your life."
She also revealed that she asked for the "biggest implants [they] could fit in [her] body" when she went for the latest set, to make it worth being "sick for two months from the general anesthesia" and that she asked for "90s stripper t**ties" despite knowing that they are not what's currently in fashion.
Megan also bizarrely claimed that she is "not fully ever asleep" because her "soul is fighting on the surgical table to wake up" which she finds "traumatizing".
Elsewhere, Megan also said that she'd never had anything done to her butt but if she ever decided to get a BBL (Brazilian butt lift), she would want them to make her booty so big it was "circus freak" proportions to make it worth it.

Megan Fox has opened up very candidly about her body and gave a brutally honest answer when questioned about her boobs.
Fox, known for her roles in blockbuster films like Transformers, recently took part in an interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
The 37-year-old actress clearly doesn't mind opening up about aspects of her life that others might find private, as she spoke about things including her on-off relationship with rapper Machine Gun Kelly, 33, and her experiences with cosmetic surgeries.
The conversation delved deeper into her personal life, touching upon her surgeries and the scrutiny she faces in the public eye.
Addressing rumors and speculations, Fox clarified: "I’ve never had a facelift of any kind" and stated: "I will never have any fat removed."
She clarified that she was not keen to have a buccal fat procedure - which slims down the cheeks - or a thread facelift, as it may affect her ability to have a full facelift in the future, which she would like to have.
Fox then opened up about her experiences with breast enhancement, disclosing that she has spent over $30,000 on surgeries over the past few years.
"I got them done in between the first and second Transformers films. But I had them done conservatively. Because back then everyone did the work, but you had to do work that was undetectable," Fox said.
She continued: "I, always, was that little girl that was in the mirror like, 'Where are my boobies?' I always wanted big boobies."
Describing her recent surgery, Fox expressed her desire for "1990s stripper t**ties," emphasizing her preference for a larger size.
"Because the first set, I didn’t have enough body fat to disguise them – you could see the rippling of the implants, I had to switch them out to this set," she said.
"They're not even that big. They're a 32D, which is not that big. They just look big on my body 'cause my body's tiny, but if, like, you could have gone bigger I would have had him go bigger, because I don't like surgery.
"The fact that I had to do it, I was like, 'I want a reward for the suffering I have to go through'. I don't want to wake up with a full B cup, there's no f***ing point," she said.
Elsewhere in the interview, Fox elaborated on the status of her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly after being questioned about whether their engagement had been called off.
Acknowledging the public interest in their relationship and the question of whether they'd ended the engagement, Fox commented: "All those things you said were accurate things that have occurred. I could see them being confusing, or interesting to people, and them being like, 'What’s up?'"
However, Fox remained tight-lipped about the specifics, emphasizing that their relationship is not meant for public scrutiny. "I think what I've learned from being in this relationship is that it's not for public consumption," she explained. "As of now, I don't have a comment on the status of the relationship per se."
Amidst the speculation, Fox made headlines when she deleted all traces of her former fiancé from her Instagram account and unfollowed him on the platform.

Jennifer Lawrence has spoken out against the rumors that she has undergone plastic surgery.
During a conversation with Kylie Jenner for Interview magazine, the 33-year-old Hunger Games star opened up about cosmetic surgery speculation she's faced recently.
On the topic of her makeup empire, the Kylie Cosmetics founder told Lawrence that she created her famous lip kits because of her desire to have "big, fat, juicy lips," and had been overlining them to achieve that fullness.
The Academy-Award-winning actress then responded by accrediting her new look - which had many people assuming she had work done to her face - to makeup techniques and time.
"That’s really, really cool," the Silver Linings Playbook lead told the 26-year-old beauty mogul.
"And I also think it’s incredible what makeup can do because I work with Hung [Vanngo], who overlines the lip, and I call him a plastic surgeon because everybody in the last few months since I’ve been working with him, is convinced that I had eye surgery," she added.
Shocked by the comment, Jenner responded: "Stop," but Lawrence wasn’t kidding, as she proclaimed: "I’m like: 'I didn’t have eye surgery. I’m doing makeup.'
"Well, apparently, I’ve had full plastic surgery," Lawrence quipped, referring to the accusations that began after she stepped out for the Dior Fashion Show in September.
Despite many social media users suggesting she had gotten filler in her lips and a nose job, the No Hard Feelings actress pointed out the fact that it’s completely normal for your face to change as you get older.
"I started at 19, so I get the before and after pictures from when I’m 19 to 30 and I’m like, 'I grew up. I lost baby weight in my face, and my face changed because I’m aging,'" she explained.
Jenner, who also famously started over-lining her lips as a teenager to make them appear "fuller", explained how her experience with makeup has also changed as she's grown older and shared her frustrations with people making assumptions about her looks.
"I’ll see before and after photos when I’m 12 years old versus 26 and my eyebrows are filled differently. I have contour on. I’m like, 'How can you compare my 12-year-old face and say I’ve gotten my jaw shaved and eyelids removed?' I’m like, 'What are we talking about?'", she said.
While this is the first time that Lawrence has addressed the plastic surgery allegations publicly, Jenner has been fighting off the rumors for years.
In an episode of her famous family's reality TV show, The Kardashians, the mom-of-two hit back at the claims that she’s changed her 'whole face' through surgery.
"One of the biggest misconceptions about me is that I was this insecure child and I got so much surgery to change my whole face, which is false," she said on an episode of their Hulu show. "I’ve only gotten fillers. I don’t want that to be part of my story."
The social media personality - who boasts over 399 million followers on Instagram - maintained that she has always been extremely confident and would never do anything to drastically alter her appearance - especially now that she has a daughter.

Megan Fox admits that behind closed doors, she struggles with her body image.
The actress, 35, revealed that she suffers from body dysmorphia in a recent joint interview with boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly for British GQ Style.
"Yeah, I have body dysmorphia. I have a lot of deep insecurities," she told the magazine.
"We may look at somebody and think, 'That person's so beautiful. Their life must be so easy.' They most likely don't feel that way about themselves," she said.
Per Mayo Clinic, body dysmorphia is described as a mental health disorder in which a person can't stop thinking about a perceived defect or flaw in their appearance. The disorder can cause anxiety and distress, making it difficult to function in social situations and daily life.
Fox did not detail the ways in which body dysmorphic disorder affects her, but she has discussed other mental health issues in the past, saying she nearly reached a "breaking point" after the 2009 release of Jennifer's Body because she found herself consistently being sexualized in films and media.
"It wasn't just that movie, it was every day of my life, all the time, with every project I worked on and every producer I worked with," Fox said at the time.
Fox's boyfriend MGK also opened up about his issues.
He confirmed he has post-traumatic stress disorder from his difficult upbringing and his drug issues.
He said: "I'm basically trying to live without dying quickly every day," he said, adding that Fox has been trying to get him to open up more to his fans about his issues.
"I want to be as grounded as she is, but I’m not there yet. I’m open to it, but I don’t want to fool you like I’m there."
MGK added that he has the "utmost respect" for Fox, who he's been dating since June 2020, following her split with Brian Austin Green in May 2020.
"She's helped me realize that you can’t bury your trauma. No one knows anything about me. They don’t know how deep that rabbit hole goes with my childhood and with everything that my body has stored in itself," he added.
Fox admitted that the pair's union is a, "very intense relationship."

Much has been said of Kylie Jenner's look, whether it's complimentary, inspiring, or the opposite. She's definitely undergone a complete transformation over the years, with the 21-year-old looking considerably different to how she did when she first started appearing in episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians as a teenager - but how much of it is natural?
Given the fact that Kylie Jenner has one of the most popular Instagram accounts in the world, and makes a serious amount of money on makeup products or otherwise advertising through sponsorships, she has a great deal of sway in what her millions of fans spend their money on or how they think of themselves. Because of this, the question of whether or not she has had plastic surgery has come up again and again - and it's a question that the reality star wants to put to bed.

In the latest issue of Paper Magazine, which has previously spoken to Amanda Bynes in detail about her comeback after years out of the spotlight, Kylie wanted to set a few things straight. During the interview, she spoke about everything from her business to her look, to her family - explaining how motherhood has been a positive change in her life.
"It's genuinely what I wanted... to be a young mom," she said. "I thought, This I what I want to do, and if people accept it or don't accept it then I'm okay with every outcome."

She also used the interview to clear the air on the rumours that have circulated about her having plastic surgery. While she admits that not every part of her look comes from her routine and standard makeup, she feels offended that people would assume she's had any surgery.
"People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely false. I'm terrified! I would never. They don't understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers, can really do. I mean, no. It's fillers. I'm not denying that."
"Makeup is something that makes me feel empowered, makes me feel good, and I think it's such a positive thing. There's no harm in playing around with it and feeling good about yourself."
During the interview, she also spoke about her status as an entrepreneur. There are plenty of people out there that call her self-made, while others point out that coming from a place of wealth and privilege doesn't really qualify her as such.

"My parents told me I needed to make my own money. 'It's time to learn how to save and spend your own money,' stuff like that," she explained. "What I'm trying to say is I did have a platform, but none of my money is inherited."
While she's insistent that she hasn't inherited the considerable amount of money she's made, she does make sure to acknowledge that she did have a platform from which she could launch her products and online persona - which does make a difference.

Megan Fox's latest social media post embracing her natural beauty has seriously confused fans.
The 37-year-old Jennifer's Body star looked completely different in her latest Instagram selfie that is currently doing rounds on the internet.
Instead of showing off her usual glamorous self, Fox opted for a more down-to-earth look while applying Wella Professionals hair treatment to her dyed blue locks.
The Transformers star appeared to be rocking just a touch of mascara, blush, and lip gloss as she posed in the mirror with her outstanding body figure on display.
In the breathtaking picture, the mom-of-three sported a black sports bra, and pajama bottoms, while her long blue hair cascaded down her chest.
"Repairing my hair (and 26 inches of extensions) post Coachella @wellahairusa #wellapartner #ad," Fox captioned the picture.

Many users took to the comment section to praise Fox's natural beauty as one user said: "You look so much better without full glam makeup," and another commented: "I love your natural photos very much," while a third exclaimed: "SO GORGEOUS."
Meanwhile, others were left shocked by the snap, as they confused the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles actress for Kim Kardashian or Love is Blind star Chelsea Blackwell.
".....I didn't know who the hell I was looking at until I read the account name.....w**???" one user remarked. "I thought this was Kim Kardashian," a second chimed in.
A third person said: "You look like Chelsea from Love is Blind," and a fourth shared that the picture "does not look like Megan Fox AT ALL," suggesting that "AI doing its thing again".
The rare minimal make-up selfie comes after the Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen actress kept it real about the plastic surgery procedures she has undergone during her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast last month.
Fox gave an open and candid answer about her boobs, saying she got them "done conservatively" before filming the second Transformers movie. "I had them redone after I was done breastfeeding my kids," the actress - who shares three kids with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green - explained.
She also shared that she got her "nose done" when she was in her early twenties and explained that fans have accused her of having "six, seven, eight rhinoplasty surgeries".
The actress admitted she's also had Botox and filler, though she's avoided "threads" out of fear "they’d interfere" if she decided to get a facelift. "I’ve never had any liposuction or body contouring or anything like that," she added.
Elsewhere in the interview, Fox disclosed her relationship status, revealing that she and Machine Gun Kelly have called off their two-year engagement.
"I feel like everyone has such an opinion on your guys' relationship. You got engaged, then I think it was called off, then we don't know what's going on with you. How would you describe your relationship with MGK?" the host Alex Cooper asked, to which the actress confirmed that the duo had gone through some issues.
"All those things you said were accurate things that have occurred. I could see them being confusing, or interesting to people, and them being like, 'What’s up?'" she said. "I think that what I've learned from being in this relationship is that it's not for public consumption, so I think as of now, I don't have a comment on like the status of the relationship per see."
Fox said that she will always refer to the 'Don't Let Me Go' singer as her "twin soul" and refused to elaborate on the pair's relationship.
"I can’t say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow. Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain," she concluded.
