It's fair to say that Billie Eilish is the one of the biggest names in music right now. The teen singer-songwriter managed to clean up at the AMAs earlier last year, winning awards for the categories of 'New Artist' and 'Alternative Rock' respectively.

But now it seems as though she is building on her phenomenal early success by dipping her toe into writing the theme for one of the biggest franchises in Hollywood.

Yes, this week Eilish dropped a pretty major hint on social media that she's been chosen to create the theme for Daniel Craig's last outing as the world's most popular spy, James Bond.

She took to her official Instagram account, to post a number of cryptic pictures of a number of famous bond girls, such as Vesper Lynd as played by Eva Green, Halle Berry as Jinx Johnson, and Daniela Bianchi as Tatiana Romanova, among others.

And now, she's confirmed the news. "No Time To Die” JAMES BOND. AND I AM SINGING THE THEME SONG. ?????? WHAAT," Eilish wrote on Instagram today.

This means Eilish will be the youngest artist to ever score a James Bond theme - taking the title from Sam Smith who was 23 when he recorded Writing’s On The Wall for Spectre, and Adele, who was 24 when she sang the theme for Skyfall.

No Time To Die, the 25th James Bond movie, is set to be released in April 2020, with Daniel Craig starring as Bond opposite Rami Malek. Ralph Fiennes stars as M, with Naomie Harris as Miss Moneypenny, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner, Léa Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann, Ben Whishaw as Q, Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter, and Christoph Waltz as Blofeld, with Ana de Armas and Lashana Lynch playing characters named Paloma and Nomi respectively.

The explosive trailer for Daniel Craig's final outing as 007 dropped back in December:

Per IndieWire, MGM's official synopsis states: "Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology."
