Blink-18- Who?

Yes, it would appear that many people out there aren't aware of the popular American rock band, as Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker is now often referred to as being the husband of Kourtney Kardashian.

Despite the band having a huge catalog of hits like 'All The Small Things', 'I Miss You', and 'First Date', there are some people out there who only know Barker for being married to the reality TV star.

Last week, Barker was rushed to hospital after being struck down with pancreatitis.

The concerning news led to many people flocking to social media to send their best wishes to the rocker - however, Barker's fans were also quick to notice that many people were referring to the Blink-182 star as "Kourtney Kardashian's husband".

Of course, despite his appearances on The Kardashians, Barker has carved a formidable career for himself in the music industry over the last three decades, with Rolling Stone dubbing him "punk's first superstar drummer".

Barker has also achieved number one albums all over the world, a Grammy nomination, several MTV Music Awards, and has performed with artists like Machine Gun Kelly, Avril Lavigne, Goldfinger, and Adam Goldstein.

Therefore, it's understandable that his biggest fans have heard enough of the drummer being referred to as a Kardashian husband.

Taking to Twitter to vent their frustrations, one fan tweeted: "Travis Barker is one of the most talented and prolific drummers of a generation. Hurts to see him referred to simply as Kourtney Kardashian's husband."

A second added: "Please stop calling Travis Barker Kourtney Kardashian’s husband. He is a legendary drummer in his own right."

A third tweeted: "Okay, but can we please not refer to him as Kourtney Kardashian's husband, Travis Barker? Pretty sure he's made quite a name for himself on his own over the past, hmmmm, 20+ years..."

I saw Travis Barker play drums for an entire set with one arm because of a broken wrist. He’s more than just 'Kourtney Kardashian’s husband,'" a fourth wrote.

Barker and Kardashian tied the knot in a lavish ceremony on the Italian Riviera coastline in Portofino.

Back in April, Barker revealed to Billboard why he believes the couple's relationship has continued to grow stronger, saying: "We’re very similar, with our backs to the wall."

"We have no quit, and I need someone like that in my life," he added.

As well as his daughter, Alabama, Barker also has an 18-year-old son named Landon. He is also step-father to Kardashian's children - Mason, 12, Penelope, nine, and Reign, seven - whom she shared with her ex, Scott Disick.

But - to Blink-182 fans - Kourtney will always just be that 'girl at the rock show'.
