Former child actor Corey Feldman has accused musician Marilyn Manson of mentally and emotionally abusing him.

The scandal of Manson's alleged behavior broke on Monday, January 1, when 33-year-old Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood - who dated Manson for several years after first meeting him when he was 37 and she was 18 - shared an official statement with her 911,000 Instagram followers.

In it, Wood wrote:

"The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson.

"He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission.

"I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him before he ruins more lives.

"I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent."

Manson himself denied the allegations in an official statement addressed to his own 3.6 million followers on Instagram, writing: "Obviously, my life and my art have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality.

"My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how — and why — others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth."

However, a number of other women, including ex-pornographic performer Jenna Jameson, have come forward alleging that Manson behaved abusively towards them, and now Stand By Me and Goonies star Corey Feldman has made accusations of his own.

In a lengthy post shared with his 113,000 followers on Instagram, the 49-year-old claimed that Manson had attempted to groom and manipulate him over the course of their friendship, and had tried to convince him to break his sobriety.

Feldman shared an image of himself alongside Manson, and captioned it:

"We had met a few months prior 2 that @ a Premier 4 #HOWARDSTERNSPRIVATEPARTS IN NY where the #GROOMING process began.

"He grabbed my face in front of the crowd and kissed me w his Black Lip Stick that I couldn't rub off all night.

"He proceeded 2 gush over me telling me what a 'Huge fan' of mine he was. He then introduced me 2 his BFF #BILLYCORGAN.

"All of this is documented in his book! He brags about it as if I was a special needs person he was making fun of.

"However, this encounter is not only talked about in his book but is also discussed in @jennacantlose Autobiography. She NOTES HIS OBSESSION WITH ME there. [sic]"

According to Variety, Manson's record label, Loma Vista Recordings, has made the decision to sever ties with the artist as a result of the negative publicity provoked by the accusations.

Per Variety, in an official statement a spokesperson for the company wrote: "In light of today’s disturbing allegations by Evan Rachel Wood and other women naming Marilyn Manson as their abuser, Loma Vista will cease to further promote his current album, effective immediately.

"Due to these concerning developments, we have also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on any future projects."

According to Deadline, Starz has also chosen to edit out footage of Manson's performance from an upcoming episode of American Gods.

A spokesperson stated: "Due to the allegations made against Marilyn Manson, we have decided to remove his performance from the remaining episode he is in, scheduled to air later this season. Starz stands unequivocally with all victims and survivors of abuse."

Meanwhile, Deadline reports that Shudder has pulled an episode of the horror anthology series Creepshow which featured Manson from syndication.
